Idee - Von der Solartechnik auf dem Dach - zum Schmuckobjekt
Anfangs war mir meine Anwesenheit beim Meeting zum Thema "Solar 97", als Goldschmiedemeisterin etwas
suspekt. Doch als mir eine polykristalline Siliciumzelle oder kurz gesagt eine Solarzelle gezeigt wurde,
war mir alles klar. Querdenken, einfach mal wieder raus aus den verkrusteten Schemata, schoss es mir durch
den Kopf. Daraus mache ich Schmuck! Diese Blau in allen Schattierungen - ein Traum! Kreativität und
Ehrgeiz waren nun geweckt. .
Idea - From solar equipment on the roof to the idea of solar jewellery.
Initially I found it puzzling to participate as a goldsmith master at a meeting about the“Fair Solar 97”. However,
when the fist polycrystalline silicium cell – a solar cell –was presented it struck me. Off the beaten path finding
unconventional solutionsit cursed through my mind. This is something I shall make decorations of
“These various shimmering blue reflections” Creativity and ambition were aroused.
Innovation
Mein Anliegen ist es, aus dem hochtechnischen Produkt Siliciumzelle in Verbindung mit einem Edelmetall
einen modernen Schmuck für zukunftsorientierte Menschen zu schaffen. Schmuckentwurf hat auch immer
etwas mit Entwicklung zu tun. Aus diesem Grunde ist man nie am Ende sondern immer an einem neuen Anfang.
So hat sich bei mir die Idee, von der Wandlung der Solarzelle als Schmuck ohne Funktion zum Schmuckobjekt
mit Funktion eingenistet.

It is my challenge to convert the high tech product solar cell into modern jewellery forfuture orientated people.
Designing decoration always has to do with development.You will never come to an end, always starts with a new
beginning. So, the idea of atransformation of the solar cell from a no-function-jewel to a functional has been laid.
